Our credo is “support as a friend, not as a savior”.

We spotlight proud story -meaning the beauties and wonders already within each culture or community, and share it internationally, interculturally, and interpersonally.

Whether already renowned or unexplored, every country, city, corner of the world has a story to tell, pride to show.
The fading of interests towards those stories, fall of people who’d appreciate those value is the cause of many social issues surrounding us.
SCUAD offers cross-cultural experience, create opportunities where you can find beautiful story in your own culture and other culture, and build a community where you can meet your squad on the different side of the earth.

OVERCOMING INDIFFERENCE, DISCRIMINATION, AND CONFLICT STARTS WITH MAKING HUMAN CONNECTIONS

This is the philosophy we stand on.

If the names of every corner of the world remind us of faces of our friends, that should surely guard us rolling down in destructive way and drive the world in the right direction.

Let us appreciate all the proud stories, and create the new story to make the future more beautiful.

SCUADのクレドは“support as a friend, not as a savior”です。

各地や各コミュニティに存在するproud storyー美しさや人の心を動かす素敵なことーを見つけ、そこにスポットライトを当てて国、文化、人を超えてシェアしていく活動をしています。

すでに有名なものであってもまだ見出されていないものであっても、すべての国、街、世界のあちこちに、伝えられるべきストーリーがあります。
いま私たちを取り巻く社会課題の多くは、本来社会に存在していたはずのそんなストーリーに関心が向けられなくなり、その価値を認識する人が減りつつあることにも起因しているはずです。
SCUADは国を超えた文化交流経験を提供することで、参加者が自文化や自分自身にも他文化や他者にも美しさを見出す機会を創出し、国籍や人種に関わらず互いに尊敬しあえる仲間と出会える場を生みだしています。

仲良しの人が世界中にできれば、
分断による無関心・差別や争いを越えて
素敵な社会が作れるはず

そう考えてSCUADは活動しています。

記号的な国や都市の名前が人の顔や名前に結び付くような場が増えることが、社会を良い方向にすすめる大きな礎となるはずです。
